KCM motorcycle helmet system
Presentation
The KCM biker communication system is a complete range of motorcycle helmets, interfaces and alternator controls designed to enhance the comfort of use for motorcyclists equipped with DMR or TETRA radios. The range offers numerous options from a fully wired system to Bluetooth products to suit any budget.
Motorcycle helmet
Our motorcycle helmet kit fits the vast majority of helmets and comprises a hypercardoid differential microphone for capturing the rider's voice without the surrounding noise, a pair of 200mW headphones for city use or 1W for fast lane driving, and an interface cable.
Interface
The interface is the heart of the system. It can be a simple junction box, with or without a wireless trance receiver, have Bluetooth functionality, or be a remote loudspeaker. The interface determines the type of kit you want.
Alternator control
The alternator control allows the rider to switch to transmission in a comfortable way. It can be wired through the sleeve, or wireless, with various button options to suit the motorcycle.

Interface
Connection box between radio connector and motorcycle helmet cords. Wireless alternating receiver powered by the radio. A PTT button is also integrated into the box.

Motorcycle helmet
Standard motorcycle helmet kit with US Nato plug.
Interface
MM20 remote microphone-loudspeaker connected to the radio. Motorcycle helmet can be connected to the remote microphone. Wireless alternator receiver powered by the radio.

Wireless, battery-powered or motorcycle battery-powered, handlebar-mounted alternator control.
Kit with bluetooth interface KCM05
Motorcycle helmet
Standard motorcycle helmet kit with Lemo safety plug.
Interface
Bluetooth unit wirelessly connected to a second unit connected to the mobile radio, usually located in the top case. Powered by a 1600 mAh rechargeable battery. A toggle button is also integrated into the box.
Alternator control
Motorcycle wiring harness running from the radio box to the handlebars, for wired remote control of the PTT button.

Motorcycle helmet
Standard motorcycle helmet kit with Nato or Bernier B600 plug.
Interface
No interface. The helmet is directly connected to the motorcycle, which is itself equipped with a harness linking the front of the motorcycle to a mobile radio, usually located in the top case.
Alternator control
Alternator control is connected to the motorcycle wiring harness via a Y box.
